cant compile coz of socket

i was compileing a map wen i got a this message:

failed to get a listening socket on port 39000
try running with BSP monitoring disabled if u cant fix this.

what does this mean is it a software glitch or hardware?

and i tried disabling the bsp monitoring
DOS comes up with bad file name c:\prog\wolf - ET\etmain\maps>

any clues?

i’ll reinstall radient and see if it fixes it if not ill reinstall ET. :banghead:

Stop trying to compile with the editor and use a batch file.
