Cant choose a certain merc

So i have 3 different Vassili cards but i cant place any of them into my squad. I played with Vassili for most of my time playing, changed him out once and now i cant place it back. Is there a reason for this or just a bug?

When you played him, he was in Free Rotation, meaning, you could play with him, eventhough you do not own him yet. Who is in Free Rotation can always be seen in the Mercs Tab. The Mercs with the little Clock Symbol are these in Free Rotation.
If you like Vassili and want to play with him, without waiting for him beeing in Free Rotation again, you gonna have to buy him via Credits or with real Money.

You can have dfferent cards for Vasilli but you have to buy Vassili if you want to play him.

And i have a Gold Rhino and a Cobalt Rhino, but do not have Rhino yet. Its just how the System in DB works.
Buy the Mercs you want with Credits, that can be get ingame, or buy them with real money, what is a lot faster.
Free Rotation is just a way to give you the chance to play a Merc and see if you enjoy playing the Merc, if so, you should buy him, if not, you can save your Credits/Money for other things.

You have 3 loadout cards for him, essentially 3 different weapon sets, but you don’t own Vassili himself yet.
