I cant change the Thread Sync option and its affecting the frames I was getting prior to the new update.
I turned changed in main menu, but the in-game menu shows it on the previous setting. And my frames seem are lower…while before I was easily getting over 100. I checked my Vsync settings and my video card settings. Seems like Thread Sync might be the issue.
Yeah. The settings are pretty weird.
It shows it’s on even though it’s off and the other way around.
I recommend you checking through the config file itself.
It’s located at
Documents > My Games > UnrealEngine3 > ShooterGame > Config
Open the file ShooterEngine.
Then search for OneFrameThreadLag.
Replace False with True if it isn’t done so yet.
Make sure to put the file on read-only in the properties so that the game can’t change the settings.
