Cant change graphics settings

I cant seem to change texture qualities to low (from medium). It just keeps reverting back. Help?

@ZeroFactor Change the video settings while ingame , and never touch it from mainmenu . Thats should do

Ive noticed this too. I purposely use low settings as I prefer the look of it (not because my pc can’t handle it) but half my settings stay on medium while others let me go to low.

You might also check to see that your config isn’t write protected. If you’ve ever used a custom config in the past then it was probably already set to read only.

Well, at that point you don’t even need to set the file back to read only. You only set it to read only in the first place if you don’t want the game to automatically change certain values you might want to keep.

So I’d just remove the read only and set it to low. Or go find another recommended FPS config and replace your current one (and remember to make sure it’s read only haha).

I can change my config though @Amerika , it just doesnt let me change “texture detail” to low. It always reverts back to medium. Can change other settings fine. I assumed that was what the OP meant but maybe not haha.

actually, thats pretty much whats been going on for me
