Can't cancel joining a 'full' server.

Server was 11/12, launcher freezes at above dialog. The blank button can’t be clicked. Alt-F4’ing to get out of it and retrying popped up ‘server full’ even though there was a slot free. Once there were 2 free slots I could join.

Does typing “disconnect” into the console work?

Not saying that should be the only way, just curious.

This is in the main screen so not tried seeing if the console even works there, worth a shot :).

Console works on that screen because the server list is in the game (think ET:QW).
