"Cannot sign in" / "Unable to connect"

Hi I have an issue, i downloaded Dirty Bomb Yesterday and was getting a "Sign in could not be completed For more information, please consult the following link: http://dirtybomb.nexon.net/client/known-issues " . I tried re-installing the game, turning off my Anti-Virus even though it’s not a Firewall, restarted steam and tried to get help on the steam Dirty Bomb group, i had 1 person say i just need to keep trying and it will finally start i have tried maybe 20-30 times now and all that happens is that the Nexon game security logo pops up in the bottom right then a little box with Dirty Bomb characters on it pops up and after the game opens, a Signing in screen appears and loads for approx.1min then either the error stated earlier pops up or today "Unable to connect. This may be because you are not connected to the internet or your network connection is not configured correctly. For more information, please consult the following link: http://dirtybomb.nexon.net/client/known-issues " has started popping up to i then have 1 option of exiting the game and thats it.

If you need any additional information please ask and if you know a solution or something that could work please let me know thank you.

Do you use bitdefender?

It’s an anti-virus program, well, there goes all my ideas

same here, problem starts today after patching
btw i have only few servers LOL

The disable SSL thing didn’t work but whitelisting a few things (hopefully not the wrong things) made me enable to login again!!

Thought it was the windows 10 update to blame, haven’t played for almost a full month and didn’t think it was possible bitdefender could be the problem since it was working fine on windows 8.1 with bitdefender (same options) :wink:

That’s just nonsense, why i have to do it for dirty bomb?
I play a lot of games, cs:go, warframe, payday 2, half life 2 and i dont need to do anything to make them work…

Yea well, I won’t force you to do anything, only thing I’m sure of is that changing BitDefender setup fixed it :wink:
