Can you disable loadout card bonuses per server?

I opened my first loadout crate/thing today and noticed you get actual stat boosts from the cards (like explosive resistance). Is there or will there be a way of disabling the stat boosts server side, because Im worried they give unfair advantages to people who have more time to play or more money to pay for the crates?

Or if I have misunderstood something, please tell me.

Not really you can only equip one card per Merc per game, so it is not like you can switch cards mid-game.

It’s how you customize your character in this game. The stats are nice but you almost always have to give up something else that is equally as good by not going with another card. As long as the cards aren’t crazy powerful then I don’t mind this setup.

I just find something like this very strange in a PVP FPS, where everyone should be more or less equal stats vice (with the exception of class differences).

Guess we’ll just have to wait and see how this plays out, but Im still worried.

My understanding is that the only disparity in stats stop after Bronze.

That is to say Bronze/Silver/Gold loadouts all have three augmentations but Gold & Bronze use the same list of augmentations when they’re spawned.

Anyone able to touch on this?

The world we live in where people think it’s unfair that some people get to play more often than others and want to nerf them. gg.

The difference between Bronze and Gold is negligible. Sure, people will want to optimize but it’s not game breaking to simply have a proper Bronze. Hell, you can get away with a Lead or Silver that has the gun you want and one or two stats and not care.

up to bronze you get more unlocks with each rank. After that its all skins (maybe some more rare loadouts?) but in principle bronze-silver-gold shouldnt differ much gameplay wise (if at all)

alright, that’s what I was thinking too, but I figured that maybe there’d be some kind of weapon/perk combinations that were only available to gold cards for example. But I believe I own a bronze Skyhammer card which seems pretty much identical to a gold loadout I saw

From a competitive standpoint this should be implemented in MM. Players should be put on an equal playing field there. If you want allow the guns for diversity sake then fine, but the augments should be disabled. A Sawbonez with 50% increase health on revive straight up out does one without this perk

if few auguments are really good that doesn’t mean u should disable all of them jesus and that 50% i only saw on iron so its just that one! maybe they can reduce it a bit but no need ot disable all -.-

They aren’t compared that much better but they do provide an edge to someone who has them over someone who doesnt.
