Can we PLEASE use the weapon skins from loadout cards?

Let us use, for example, a cobalt card with a Timik as a Timik weapon skin.

I’d love to be able to do something like this:

Make my default Vassili card even more obnoxious by slapping my worthless Alienware card on it.

'Cause those gun skins are sick on that card, but it’s a bad card.

Weapon cases are meant as as source of income for SD. Allowing loadout cards to act as weapon cases would subvert that, so I doubt it will happen.

Disagree, players could still use weapon skins instead, which would be unique from the loadout card base skin.

What it would subvert is the loadout card system. You would only need one cobalt card per class to make any loadout card for that class appear Cobalt, etc.

Lol, then I can run an alienware or logitech card with a bronze weapon skin to turn them into an average bronze card, since all alienware or logitech does is change the weapon skin

I’m saying let any card with a specific gun be used as a weapon skin for that gun, not for the merc.

I don’t think it would subvert anything once they start releasing nicer weapon skins, it will just let you customize the look. If you have multiple cards where one skin looks cool, but the gun on another looks cooler, you wouldn’t have to settle.

I mean crap, it would even be reasonable if they let us dismantle loadout cards into the constituent primary and secondary weapon skins. I’d even pay to do this to my otherwise worthless Alienware cards.

Yes, those gun skins were pretty cool. Would love to be able to use the cards.

It’d be a great way of being able to use old event cards that are now obsolete.

But I highly doubt SD designed this new system to provide players with more customisation options, they’re doing this for the money.

Honestly it’s a slap in the face for anyone who’s bought cases in the past, but I am not surprised at all.
