SD could experiment with different types of effects too, sort of like DB’s version of Unusuals.
Can we make this oddity a skin?
And I though I was only one getting this “bug” on my obsidian Stoker. Anyways, I like it much more than obsidian skin Stoker currently has. Sounds wrong but… don’t fix your game for once SD please.
And i was wondering that they changed the skin. Was super hyped until the effect disappeared… back to iron-ish obsidian i suppose
It does look cool. It’s a little annoying when bugs look awesome hah. May have to have a word with the weapon skin artists…

Make it happen. Make it a “bugs are now a feature event”

I agree, and especially with this particular oddity, it’s one of the more eye-catching bugs I’ve seen so far, but pair this with the Royal Force skin, and you got yourself a magma/fire-themed skin, I’d pay for that beauty.

Wouldn’t be the first time. Wasn’t the Proxy mines killing teammates originally a bug?

It makes the blue of the cobalt and alpenfaj (swiss red) look bad. it’s OK for the rest.
I believe this is simply the base model with unloaded textures. Once the game loads and applies the textures, you see what you’re used to.
Asset loading bug or not, that would make for a sick skin using the firewall trinket.

Ive had this in the middle of a match too
The ‘Flames’ aka muzzle-flash appear on all Timik cards that I’ve tried. Goes away after the first shot. Haven’t reported it…well, cause it’s cool.

I remember seeing a few people on Twitch with this bug in where this bug lasted the whole match, it was rad.

It’s not just that, I’ve had it on every single game I’ve played with Stoker on every skin. You can see the other skins while having this appear over it.

I wouldn’t know about swiss red, but on cobalt blue I thought it was pretty cool! Almost like a purple magma flare.

Oh shoot, I shouldn’t have reported that. Woops.

I don’t mean default skin I mean default texture. I’m 99% sure (but don’t truly know) the base model of the character has one skin (like skin tone, human skin) and then the “skins” (the cards that change your appearance) are separate texture models placed on top of the base model. So naturally you’ll see all the “skin” variants with this bug happening because this bug is tied to the base model underneath all of the stuff applied on top. Like for example how you can see the gloves and watch in the above picture even though the base skin is unloaded.
Any one else feel like there merc is tripping on acid when they get conc gradaded. I randomly get a rainbow effect on the gun when stunned. Its random and happens verry little but It looks cool and think that should be permenant instead of just a white screen
