Actually, cliffyb from Epic games did hide webcams around the office, when we were in the excitement period waiting for the UT2k3 demo. Some people had ‘sniffed out’ the URLs of the web cams, with the best one being replaced by an ‘already found’ message when it was discovered. Two other were in operation up to the release of the game. Sometimes they would leave tantalizing hints just beyond the readable distance of the camera. One night, there was a LOT of smoke in the office, and it was suspected that tabacco was not the product being consumed, but we never did find out for sure. Finding the webcams was a sort of easter egg thing, cryptic hints and many port sniffings later, some were discovered.

Not necessary, everyone likes to do it where they see it fit. It would be a pain to enforce that one, and probably everyone would avoid the “whine” section.

** Player whine, someone pwned you? Accuse them for cheating here!
