Can we have a somewhat better progression system?

Don’t get me wrong, I’m digging the progression system but a more in-depth one would be better. I am a level 8 at the moment and I don’t really see a point in levelling apart from credits.

We get these badges at the end of the match, what about those? What if when we reach a certain number of badges we get a reward? Let’s say, for 100 Quad Kill badges you get 3,000 credits or something like that. I know its a beta but I’m just pointing some stuff out there.

I’ve read a few times now that the devs wanted levelling up to be a “Look how experienced I am” rather than a system of rewards and progression for it’s own sake.

Almost in the opposite direction of the typical “Free to play” game, it seems they wanted cash playing players to have just as much opportunity as long time veterens with the only difference being experience.

I’m not complaining, I think it’s quite an original way to treat experience, you know… by making it show your experience.

The issue with credits depending on xp / badges is that good players will inevitably get good stacks of money when the average/bad players won’t receive that much more. Credit rates are right now depending on how you grind missions and how your team behave during the match (game credits you earn after each games are common for winning and losing team plus or minus the winning bonus). So basically, that would create a further gap between good/vets players who know the game quite well and the other parts of players.

But on the other hand, I do agree that xp is not rewarding at all right now. I really don’t give a dare about my level.

Please do not create duplicate threads. A thread already exists(On page one) discussing this same topic. I suggest that you contribute to that thread rather than create a new one
