Can we get a server with friendly fire on?

Short answer: No.
Long answer: The game has an acknowledged retention rate problem. There are plenty enough players with access in all the time zones to fill their respective servers. People aren’t just inclined to play.

But that’s drifting from the subject.
If they managed to get more than 10 of those cc players online at any given time we wouldn’t have to worry about them joining the only server with people online (and them not having an enjoyable experience with veterans). They could fill normal servers and be warned before joining a “veteran / friendly fire on” server.

I already have a hard time understanding how we only ever manage to get one and half server active with hundreds of normal testers (and it has always been the case), so don’t try to tell me there are thousands of _cc somewhere out there
lol look at the number of people that comment on the forums… we are all the regular players

Funk works by intervals it seems

Like most of the community. Update -> people test and then leave. Just goes by waves so far. Which is exactly the problem Funk explained. Also people come and play against us, which is kind of unfair for them

You are far from being a noob. Newbies have really a hard time around us and I can understand that they don’t stick to the game. Also alpha/beta testing is not for everyone …

I got a feeling most of the new people are just there to play, not to participate in testing/‘debugging’ (which is neither a good or a bad thing, it’s just what it is).

Back to the FF subject,
One of the things playing against having FF is the speed of the game. Because everyone moves so fast and dies so quickly (at least in my case) it puts you in a “shoot first, ask questions later” attitude.
Lately with full servers and so many people running all around in the maps I’ve been shooting at my team all the time. If I see someone approaching from the side I’m not waiting to check if they’re in my team.

Just a perspective from a noob.

I do think there should be an option of FF somewhere (I probably just wouldn’t join in that often, as I know I would get shouted at).

I am for FF.

However the fact that the 2 sides aren’t visually different ie. dark uniforms for axis vs light beige ones for allies. means perhaps tk and tb will be higher for db than with et.
