Can we customize the appearance of our merc in the future?

(I hope the devs can answer this)

By customizing, I mean like let them wear like Hats in team fortress 2 or make them wear some silly costumes like in saints row. If I remember correctly the devs allowed customizing the soldiers in Brink so why not also in Dirty Bomb after they fix all problems and stuff.

If-ever the devs are really planning to allow us to cuztomize our merc I got a suggestion on how to unlock this clothing or skin. Remember the loadout case where we open the case it will give us a random loadout card for a specific merc I suggest why not make the same for this costumes or clothing where we could get a clothing case and when we open it we could get a random clothing or costume for a specific merc. Just a suggestion not everyone needs to agree.
(The clothing doesn’t need any perks its just a way to make us more silly or more badass)

I just love customizing my character in video games if the devs doesn’t want this feature and have plans for something else then I will accept their decision. This is just an idea.

I think its been discussed about having cosmetic items coming. I think that if they charge real money for ‘special’ loadout cards with unique visuals it would be popular. I think alot of people are hoping for it to be a free thing with case drops like we get now but considering SD are focused on only having pay for cosmetic items instead of pay to win they may see this as a business chance for them and tbh i’d be cool with that.

SplashDamage, please at some point separate skins from loadouts. I will happily pay for skins, but the current lottery when you also must get a good loadout is too much for me.

I heard about the fact that skins may be separated from the loadouts in the near future. Not sure if it’s still a thing.

I loved customisation in battlefield heroes (was way to expensive there so I didn’t even buy things but still :p) if they would do something like that for a reasonable price (I’m not paying 10 euro’s for an outfit lol) that would be really cool

If they make separate RNG cases for loadouts and cosmetics each for certain mercs, not like one cosmetic or loadout applies to all, than it would be great. The devs are thinking about it.

If you ask me they should have customizable skins for the clothing that is already ON the merc and even skins you can get for each weapon that you can switch out on any loadout card.

God if anything i’d rather have CS:GO type gun skins and reskinned clothing for skins on each character than added bulky clothing like TF2… God I can’t stand that game :smiley:

To be honest being able to customise your character like in TF2 would be awesome and i can see my self spending some cash on hats or stuff like that in DB.
