Can we actually report idiots for being idiots?

Almost everyday, i meet few these kind…

GG EZ
NOOB GOT REKT
IM GOD,You all idiots.
EZ no fun.
All noob EZ , no competition…

I mean these kinda players ruin the round, takes away the fun…Most players would simply quit the round because of these kinda idiots… Most of my steam friends would just say ‘F IT IM LEAVING’…

I was wondering, if we could report these players for harassing other players? Im not talking about banning these players, but simply silencing these people… from few hours to several days ?!(chat ban except quickchats)

Also, is there an option to ignore other players? (CHAT n VOICE?)

This guy was yelling at his top voice through mic and then chatting non stop ~.~(and he was my team)

You can mute individual players. There is also an in-game option to turn voice chat off completely.

we need:

  • vote mute
  • block ALL communication (not just VOIP) - works wonders in CSGO, i might need to click a few times but all the allahu akbar and russian 12 year old crowds are easily controllable

We need something like , Ignore List… Like adding a player to ignore list by clicking their name or type /ignore

ignore should be the last resort - most of those are just kids looking for a little attention - try to be a little less sensitive while being a little more sensitive

You can report for people for harassment the same way you report people for hacking.

However I personally don’t think someone saying ‘LOL EZ GAME, GET #REKT NOOBS’ is harassment and it’s just wasting the time of the people that have to look at the tickets if reported. Best thing to do is just ignore them and don’t reply.

Maybe @GM-Radrodo could clarify this as he’s dealt with all the tickets about cheaters I’ve sent in <3

You can mute player’s VOIP and text chat by going to the scoreboard, holding down the RMB to activate the cursor, and clicking on their name and then click ‘Mute’.

Please tell me how. I have master volume on 1%, the other 3 on 100%, and receive volume at 10% (no different to 100%). VoiP is SO loud that I have to immediately mute everyone or risk losing my hearing.

It’s only in the in-game menu. Why on earth the menu’s outside of a game and in are different, I don’t know. It’s mind boggling.

When you’re in a game (practice game works too), do this:

  • Press Esc to get to the menu
  • Select GAME (not Audio as you would expect)
  • Scroll down to Voice Enabled (almost last)
  • Switch it to OFF

    Thanks! Yeah I dunno why the menus are so inconsistent. Half the features are missing from the main menu options and several are missing from in-game options. Also the sliders in-game go by decimal but in the menu they go by integer. Please explain.

    Ok so this WAS awesome, until I found out that doing this disables your ability to mute people - why bother putting that in? - which means people can spam “Cough!” all fucking game. Why is “Cough!” even in the game?
