Can u guys help me with mouse input lag while v-sync is active?

I had a bad pc and i played with v-sync off for obvious reasons, but 2 months ago when i bought a GOOD pc and when i activated the v-sync I detected a bit of mouse input lag. I tried limiting the fps and creating a custom resolution but nothing of that worked. I actually play with high settings 1920x1080p resolution and annoying screen tearing (aim is more important)

V-Sync gives you input lag, there is no way around that. If you get 60FPS, it will be noticable. If you have a 144hz monitor and you get 144FPS the input lag will be less, but at those refresh rates tearing is almost a non-issue.

Basically, don’t use V-Sync in a First Person Shooter. Ever. Use the FPS limit option in your GPU driver to minimize tearing.

If you play on a 60Hz monitor just limit the FPS to 58. You can do that with MSI Afterburner. You could also overclock your monitor’s refresh rate to let’s say 70ish and limit the FPS to 68 (two frames below the refresh rate of your monitor). This way it will look smoother and almost remove the input lag.

Paired with V-Sync ofc^
