Can lms scripts limit weapons?

It is almost impossible to play lms with airstrikes and panzerfruzht(or what ever the name was).

Can I in someway disable weapons in a lms script or elsewhere?

It is possible to make games who only allow convert ops with sniper or just pistols?

You could set g_heavyweaponrestriction in the script, but the server admin could override it. Add “cvar g_heavyweaponrestriction set 0” to game_manager:spawn. Shrub may add more options in the future, which you may be able to configure with cvars, but again, the server admin can override it. In general, you should let the server admin do this sort of thing. If they think LMS spam is a probably, they will add the heavy weapon restriction to their LMS server config.

I’d suggest just putting g_heavyweaponrestriction (or the equivalent shrub or bani cvars) in your server config, rather than in the map script.

But with heavyweaponrestriction turn on I can still can use panzerfaust and machinguns.

What does it affect?

It affects the number each team can have. The number that g_heavyweaponrestriction is set to is the percent of the team that is allowed to have a certain weapon. Even with 0, each team can still get 1, though.

Turning off airstrikes in a lms script may be possible with a remap of the sky shader in the lms scripting. From the sky to stucco maybe… or something with light emitting in the shader property but without the ‘sky-parameters’. If you are new to scripting I’d say to sweet talk a veteran into doing/testing this for you. —Or even switch it to a texture/shader that mimics a sky but disallows arty and such.
