I’m very new to the game and would love to get some tips and tricks as well as some thoughts on how I play. Any help would be appreciated!

Can I get some critiques on my gameplay?

I had a good laugh at your first clip where you made mention of being out of ammo a few times while running within inches of an ammo dump multiple times
I have two suggestions for improvement and both are related to movement.
-
Use your knife when you go anywhere that you know an enemy won’t be. Running out of spawn, running around corners where your teammates are or even running to new areas. Bringing your gun up and firing is ridiculously quick in this game and you get a 20% movement speed buff with the knife out. Also, when you run from fights and you won’t be shooting pull your knife out. You die quite a bit less by doing this and also adding in critique number two.

Use the walls. Multiple times when you were moving around the map you could have used the walls to speed up where you were going while also being harder to hit if somebody happens to spot you while you’re moving. Running in a straight line in this game is pretty bad. Jumping off walls while trying to evade when you run out of ammo or are low HP is also pretty key in this game to staying alive.

Long jump. The tutorial made mention of this but it’s rarely remembered by new players. Hit crouch before jumping and you do a long jump (make sure to turn sprint toggle on in the options unless you want your fingers to be pretzels). It’s great for getting to a downed player quickly to revive, knife gibbing somebody, getting around the map by jumping off walls and for evasion. You have to know when to do it as you’ll get a speed decrease at the end but it can be a matter of living or not if you do it right.
Other than that your game sense was pretty OK despite the obvious newness to the game and you were being a team player for the most part. Your aim is hard to judge because you were barely shot at as it looked like you were on a min level 5 server but you were at least tracking well enough and long enough which is something the CoD/BF only players tend to have issues with in DB.
Good vid and good luck learning the game!
