all i see in an explosion that causes the ‘white’ bit

i guess you could disable the particals or make the TGA completely transparent

I believe that setting r_wolfparticles to “0” will disable this. However, I believe it might stop smoke from drawing as well.

@kamikazee-> Its a important comand for movie configs. I cant use 0 because it disable some nice effects. Anyway i tested and didnt help.

@=SC=Beef-> Which one? i searched allready but didnt find anything. And its a “animation” , its not only one tga… i think :<

Try looking in.
sprites
gfx\misc\

I just had a look throug the pk3 and I think the file your after would be in one of those paths.

Resource files such as textures, scripts, maps, etc are loaded from pk3s.

The engine loads pk3s alphabetically.
So if you want to override a texture/script/whatever from a pk3, put whatever you want to override it with in the same path in a pk3 with a filename alphabetically after the pk3 of the file you want to override.

In this case, you want to override some textures in pak0.pk3 with a completely transparent texture.
So you need to make a transparent texture, and put it in the same parth in a pk3 with a name like z_nosmoke.pk3 (alphabetically after pak0).
