can I activate a styles light froma func_button?

I want to turn on a flashing Red light when I activate a door .

can I do this with a styles light and if so how?

In ET: alertentity <targetname of dlight>. Don’t forget to turn it off by calling it again and fill the style string too.

If you’re not mapping for ET, you can also try using triggerable shader entities to swap between two shaders - one for light off, another for flashing light on.
