I guess Ill ask first just how long you’ve been playing, and what level are you. As well as what mercs do you have and have you gotten any you find really fun. And lastly what are your preferred playstyles and have you tried/noticed any other mercs during their free rotations outside of your preferred style that interested you.

I ask about the mercs because if you’ve been playing awhile and gotten a decent amount of credits you should be able to start buying some new mercs and having a merc you truly find fun playing helps a lot with enjoying the game. I found the game immensely more fun when I bought my first merc, nader, over using the 2 given to you or the ones that were on rotation at the time.

Then going from there I would make sure you’re comfortable with your controls/sensitivity and work on game mechanics one by one.

I would focus each thing one at a time if it seems overwhelming trying to do all of them, and Ill get into more detail once you reply and get some info from you.

The only way you are going to get better is by cold stone hard time consuming practice.

I think hes looking for tips and information to give him an idea of how to, but yes ultimately he’ll have to learn bit by bit as he plays.

Here are a couple general suggestions.

Go into options and turn hit beeps on. Set your crosshair to a bright green or pink dot (this can only be done via options in-game for unknown reasons) so that it is immediately distinguishable. Have your cursor at enemy head level and listen for the headshot hit beeps while strafing side to side in combat. Unless you’ve got a shotgun, avoid jumping around in combat as that’s heavily penalized with weapon spread, and don’t use sights with most weapons at close to mid range. Set your graphics settings low enough that you are getting a consistent frame rate that isn’t dropping massively during airstrikes.
