Can anyone from the US gift Brink to me?

(SPYMAN) #1

Hey there,

as I live in Europe, I’d like someone from the US to gift Brink to me.

I’ll give you the money via paypal. Would be nice if someone could do it, who isn’t a scammer

My Steam : SPYMAN1337, feel free to add me and respond in this thread, if you do it.

Doesn’t work like that, it’s locked to country codes. Sorry bud.

(SPYMAN) #3

It’s cheaper from the US + I can activate it with a VPN or?

(SockDog) #4

Direct2drive.co.uk was (is?) running a 25% discount and you can activate the key right in Steam.

(kratier) #5

its most likely a scam

Once thing I do know is that people can get banned for this. Valve doesn’t like when people from EU get their games a little bit cheaper.

(Protector) #7

Seriously why do people still say it doesnt work. A friend of mine gifted me it and mine will be releasing the same time as the US does and i’m in the UK. Me and my friend have gifted many games and every time it has worked.

In regards to valve banning, I would love to know how valve can prove its not just a generous friend rather than someone tax dodging.

As far as i’m aware the VPN thing won’t work though.

I wouldn’t do this through Steam, but D2D should be fine.

(SPYMAN) #9

So can pls anyone do it ? As you heard it, it works. I will pay 5$ extra, if anyone does it. Iam NO scammer. If you have some credibility here, like more than 100 posts or something, I will give the money first via PayPal. You can trust me 100%.

(BrigandSk(A)) #10

don’t trust anyone!

Try someone from your own family or a close friend!

omg

(ktr) #11

FYI: This is against Steam’s TOS.

(SPYMAN) #12

Just don’t post here if you don’t have anything real to add. If I would have any relatives in the US, I would ask them but Iam from Germany.

Edit : Gifting is totally legal. I even read in this forum, that someone said that he would gift it to anyone who asks, unfortunenately I forgot what his name was.

(Shadedluck) #13

Hey, if you really need someone to do it I can. I added you on steam.
Done. Don’t get scammed now people!

(SPYMAN) #14

Yeah it’s done, thread can be closed

Thanks again…

(Shadedluck) #15

Anytime, man.

Getting bored of posts like this. Gifting people works, you are more than welcome to buy your steam friends gifts that is why it is there, the gentleman isn’t wanting every single game bought for him from the US so he dodges tax he wants one game gifted and thats it.
