I took a month of pause from this game and came back to just see how things were, not good sadly.
The problem is, the game feels random mostly. The best i can describe is that it feels like FFA from cod where you kill some people because they were looking at some other direction, then you multikill some with a chopper because you were lucky etc. Brink feels exactly the same. Everyone is running around randomly and when they spot an enemy, they take the 1 sec it takes to kill someone from behind. There is no distinction between ally and foe(and believe me, i set enemy turrets/mines/etc to bright green from cvars), barely any visual cues, they both carry the same weapons.
It just doesn’t feel right. When i get in a game, i expect to die because someone was better than me and i expect a person to die when i’m aiming at him. The only weapon that doesn’t make me mad is the ritchie with a scope because it actually hits what you aim. I don’t care about anything, i just want to kill something, not roll a dice to see if it’s either him or me. Just now i came from a game where i spotted a mine on my path, i took the carb and… had to iron sight about 4m away AND burst fire to destroy it and even then half the shots were missing. SERIOUSLY!
I might give another try when some balance update hits, but for some time it’s going to sit on my hdd, dormant. School is also starting so i doubt i have any time left from it and some etqw cups.
