If I buy something like the starter pack will I get to keep the stuff I buy when the game comes out? Im thinking about buying the starter pack but Im afraid I will lose my money? I was just wondering.
Buying with real money?
You will keep everything.
Some of the items you buy, might undergo changes but you will keep them.
Also I would recommend that you get the humble bundle instead of the starter pack on steam, as you will get a good deal, and at the same time support a charity: https://www.humblebundle.com/
I’m sometimes wondering how people come to the thought that something they pay for could be trashed because a game leaves the BETA.
I mean, it’s Nexon, but even Nexon isn’t Activision, where you have to pay $60 for a game and it dies in a year because a new is released
To be fair, some games and more of MMOs do offer purchasable content during the betas, but MMOs get fully wiped for the launch and some of the content you paid for will be turned into the currency only available for real money or the default currency the game uses(the value of the currency should be equal to the content you paid for).
When stuff like this happens, usually you should always be refunded, but within the game.
Unless you’re paying for RNG, don’t ever expect to win anything from RNG.
Yeah youll keep everything when its released.
It would be a really, really bad business model for them to do shit like that. Some people have probably spent a couple hundred bucks on a free game and if on release they said “lol thanks but fuck you” it would damage SDs and Nexons reputations significantly.
Although shit might get changed heavily and may as well be different. For all we know proxy will get 600 HP and a minigun that shoots armed hitscan mines

Oh no it gets better, so they strip content out of the game and resell it as “new” when it was just sitting there for months.
Destiny for example, that whole game, from the original disc, to the following 3 expansions, was meant to be one game. And to get it all you basically had to pay 120 dollars.
Fuck them, and yet I still want it on PC. >_>
