Buy Proxy?

Hi!
Time ago I found a cobalt loadout for proxy.

Now, i have 30.000 money and I wanted to ask if I should take proxy or wait to take another merc.

Do you think I should take?

Wait, then try her when she’s in the free rotation.
It’s always a good idea to try a merc before buying it.

TBH, I think Proxy is one of the few mercs that everyone should have. She is just so useful to have. excellent merc, well balanced, and only 30k :wink:

Get her, get her, you should totally. Definetly. Yes.
Unless you’re somehow not good at twitch shooting (what are you doing here) in which case Bushwaker is better.

Proxy is the best merc at pushing objectives. I do recommend using one of the SMG loadouts though. There’s one that has an SMG as a sidearm too. That’s the one I’m using.
Ignore enemies, push the objective. Compensate for lack of hitpoints by being super fast.
The mines are great at holding objectives. Half the time the people never expect them, the other half of the time it at least slows them down.

And remember. You gotta go fast, you’re riding shotgun.

She’s alright, but got a rather unique playstyle. Remember to flank, be evasive, and avoid fighting. If you can, only pick 1v1s.

She isn’t the best engineer, not by a long mile, but she’s alright.

I love proxy by virtue of those moments in underground, at the bottom of the stairs before the last objective. There is nothing better then when both teams are locked down in a firefight, and you can sprint through an unoccupied side hallway and do the objective with no one to stop you. Long and short of it is yes, proxy is amazing.

Proxy is my love :smiley: Definitely take her. She was my 1st purchase. If you like to farm combat XP, game mode XP and troll ppl with mines…there is no reason to wait. You’ll help ur team a lot!

Underpowered compared to the other two engineers but in a pub anything goes. She’s great fun, go for it.

She’s super fun and definitely a nice fast PUB merc, but if you’re looking to fill out you’re squad with the best mercs, Proxy isn’t the best. The holes in a defense Proxy is designed to exploit don’t often exist against good players and her low hp makes her have a rough time against most mercs.
