While I’m still trying to get the C41 loadout, 10+ trade ups and still nothing, I wonder if lock on is that important on Bushwhacker turret.

Lock-On is very very very very very important.
Besides the reacting speed, but especially when turret is shooting multiple enemies in a row.
Turret has to spend another Lock-On time when the first Lock-Oned target dies, aiming the secondary target again.
If your turret has no Lock-On, it needs another damn 0.6 sec. That’s 1.2 sec if shooting two targets in a row.
I can only think of BL81, or C83 really.

SM41 is kinda interesting since Unshakeable + Quick Draw and all solid weapons. If the third perk was something more useful like Drilled or even Spares it could be pretty good.

Turret with lock-on needs 0,18 sec less (30%*0,6s) to aim. That’s not even half a second difference when targetting two enemies. It’s definitely not THAT important.
C41 for me, because kek, spares and beckhill. If C73 had a knife instead of a cricket bat, I’d probably use that one.

Imo it is trash, and I hate it.
Lock On helps.
A teensy bit. Like Dustaz says, the difference is so minor it doesn’t really make it that worth it imo.
I still do look for it because anything to make Bushwacker’s turrets better is worth it, since they are pretty bad.

That’s it, the turret is easy to destroy and with Lock On, at least it feels better, that’s make me avoid other loadouts.
But I also think that the turret have to be more a distraction for the enemy than a killing machine, so, other loadouts might be viable.
I’ve no much experience with Bushwhacker, would really like to hear from who main him and from who use him in competitive if possible. That would be great.

still another trade up to do but I’ll aim at Nader SM41…

Smg9 is pretty dope, and Unshakeabubbles is pretty much the best thing ever, this could have been his ultimate combat engie card with a third perk like Drilled instead of the goddamn Pineapple.
Even if it does have Lock-On, if the loadout is as shxt as BL73, I won’t gonna use it still.

Hell, I would’ve use it if it had at least the Drilled.
Bush still needs improvement because Fletcher is just that much more powerful, hell Fletcher can take down Bush’s turrets easily. What I want is for SD to fix the Steady perk, it needs to be viable since it’s the only unique perk Bush has and that perk does nothing. Any one can still take down the turret easily with explosives AND bullets, they need to either give it resistances or increase the health benefit for actual use since the 2 loadouts that use it just aren’t viable when compared to the C41.
