Burst Pistol?

I think it’d be nice to have a burst pistol added to the game similar to the Raffica featured in many other games. Just as another option for loadouts. Nothing special I know, but I think DB is sorely missing it.

Teach those other mercs to give her only pistols.

That is kinda like saying the Timik is serving the same roll as the Stark…

I would love a burst pistol if it was done right!

burst pistol: low damage, high rof cqc pistol

machine pistol: low damage, high rof cqc pistol

timik: moderate/high damage, high rof, medium range

stark: high damage, burst rof, long range

well, burst pistol would serve the same way as machine pistol, but somehow weaker in close range since automatic in cqc is king

I guess the burst pistol would have longer range than machine pistols kinda bridge that gap? Not sure how you would make it any different then range,but would be neat to see.

Bit of a necro there…

Burst pistols are too much of a niche for me. Burst only weapons just feel so constrictive
