While I’m still waiting for a turtle … I ended up creating some things … for now I have this idea.

Class: Fire Support
Name: Bulldog and Foxy
Health: 120
Helicopter health: 400…around.
Sprint: 400
Arm: 5s
Defuse: 5s
Country: Canada and Argentina

Abilities:
E: Ammo pack (4)
Q: Call Foxy.
Bulldog would be a character like the other Fire Supports since he gives ammunition bags to his companions. What makes it different is that his unique ability is a small avenge that calls a helicopter where his companion Foxy will hunt the enemies from the heights with his sniper rifle.
E (AMMO BAG): 4 ammo bags to give and use…you know…the clasics.

Q (CALLING FOXY): The firing of the flare that marks the zone is triggered automatically when used. Do not throw yourself like a grenade. It goes off to the skies from the location of Bulldog. Is not a powerful air raid like the others but this one stays a good time. Unlike Kira with her lightning, this one cannot be moved but the area is much bigger and clearly it does not have to keep aiming so that it follows its course.

The enemies entering the marked area will be notified that they were exposed, after 1 second they will receive Foxy 100 attack damage.
The enemies are not revealed to the team.
Foxy cannot fire more than one enemy at a time, but still shot other enemy in the area next to the last shot.

Given that this Ability lasts a longer time than the other skills of Fire Supports. The Cool down is little longer too.
This ability may not be as destructive as the others but its use can make a difference when it comes to constantly defending an outdoor targets.

It could work as an area denial tool for sure, but how big is the zone exactly? And 3 seconds with only 80 damage seems a bit low IMO, if anything Stoker can do better with his molly with a shorter cooldown and actually damages things.

Of course you can lock down an entire entryway with Foxy (think Trainyard) but still 3 seconds is more than enough for light mercs to GTFO even if Foxy will deal enough damage to kill them. And if the duration of the ‘marked’ zone is too high then multiple Bulldogs can deny the enemy team from reaching the objective completely.

One more thing I’m not certain of due to the wording, if Foxy can only damage one enemy at a time then suicide repair/plant will still work, alternatively you can pack a few medics along (think two Sawbones) with the more sturdy engineers (Bushwhacker and Fletcher) basically mitigating all the damage from the ability.

Personally I like the idea, but it can be reworked to something along the lines of ‘after enemy steps in marked zone, they are notified and after 1 second the enemies will be dealt 100 damage one by one in a random order, and will continue until no enemy remains in zone or the duration has timed out.’ I.e. three mercs step into zone, after one second Merc one recieves 100 damage, then Merc two, and Merc three. After another one second if they are still there, the process repeats.
Of course this means the duration of the zone is greatly reduced, I’m thinking 2 ‘bursts’ in 10 seconds.

I’d probably replace the K-121 with a Timik, and the BR-16 with a Stark, maybe Dreiss? Or maybe you can make your own weapon.

In maps like Chapel and Trainyard, where everything is open, “Prey” might be a useful asset. However certain maps such as Bridge, last objective, where everything you do is inside a building, Bulldog maybbe underpowered, and the MGs in DB are a real hit or miss.

Underground… well I might actually consider Foxy overpowered. While much of the map is sealed off, the parts that are open consists of objective points, such as Skylight 1st objective, or the entire bombsite of the second objective, where her ability locks down the entire spot

And what happens if two helicopters meet each other? As in from different sides?

I would also like to point out that the arm/defuse stats are messed up a d dont fit a fire support.
IT would also make more sense to slightly increase his hp and reduce his speed , since hes carrying some heavy equipment with his mgs , so that might make more sense.

to be honest i usde the fire support stats of the wikia but well if we let him have MG, yeah the nerf speed sounds good…about the 2 choppers…dude you got me there…but well like i said…just down the dawn chopper. about the time when the chopper shots you…i leave that to you guys with the forum

Spam the ability to lock down an entire choke point for an extended period? Please no.

I’ve avoided commenting on helicopter-assisted fire support mercs due to my strong opinion that such an unavoidable area denial for such a long time (which already insta-downs all but 1 medic) is bad for game play. It’s extremely strong on attack, as team-kills in comp aren’t a risk with a pinpoint-accurate area denial when comparing this to something like an airstrike.

As a side note, this ability in casual could be stacked nearly endlessly. The programmers would also need to write an a.i. for the npc aim-er.
