Built new computer

(ludicrousBlast) #1

I finally built my new computer. Went from 20fps at max low, to 120fps at max high. I am not used to so many frames, its amazing.

Yeah aiming suddenly is way easier, right? :#

(Ghosthree3) #3

60hz or 120/144hz monitor? Cos that’s a bigger difference even still.

(ludicrousBlast) #4

60hz, I plan on upgrading once I save up more.

(Jan S.) #5

Nice, enjoy your new machine!

(Sinee) #6

How did you play DB at 20fps max when it’s so fast-paced? Didn’t you just get completely fucking demolished by opponents all the time?

(Rjsto) #7

But on the other hand, if he got good with that, he must be a god at the game now

#8

O_O

Nice! Must be a monster.

btw regardinf 120/144hz my screen is default 144 but I set it to 120 due gpu usage in idle… is there big difference between 120 and 144 ?

(Ghosthree3) #10

Not as big from 60 to 120 but it’s there. It’s not significant but if you can have it there’s no reason not to.

Those springy auras, proxy’s. and sparks always got me. I have been playing at low frames my whole life, so you get used to it. I could top frag easily with those frames.

good for you i can’t run this game at 60fps but crysis 3 does work at 60fps all max 1080p

(CCP115) #15

Specs?

Cos running 120 at max FPS? That some serious frames right there.

AMD…BOOOOOOOOOO HISSSSSSSSS BOOOOOOOOOOOO

(Ghosthree3) #18

It does seem a waste to go AMD if you’re building a whole new PC for performance. But if it’s working it doesn’t really matter that much I guess. Coulda got more fps or future proofed harder though :frowning:

Should last a couple of years though.

(neverplayseriou) #19

Gtx 960, people still buy those? O,o

(gg2ez) #20

Yes. Just yes.

Edit: Just not that one.
