Bugs?

(Crozzton) #1

There is a few things I find a bit buggy or weird. I’d like an official note if possible wether or not it is intentional

Angela’s healing aura heals after death. If she is dotted and receive damage in “upkeep” ( when u r shown she receive dot damage) she also heals. At that point she is shown as dead. Intentional?

Healers can heal through walls. Intentional?

Megan’s mines follow the last toon stepping on it. Can’t be intentional or ?
Also you can’t trigger mines by pushing ppl on to them is that intentional?

Dot damage shown on ghosted toon making it possible to track them intentional?

So i found out recently while playing a

I think aura speaks for itself, and therefore healing through walls is intentional.

In my opinion at least.

I have a few bad memories with Angela’s aura. I think the order (of the graphic effect) should be fixed. Healing aura should be take an effect before DoT.

I know that healers can heal through wall (well, I know that engineers can fix through wall) for long, and used it for long. I thought this is OK as it is. If this is unintentional and will be fixed future, I will stop healing in this way.

Used the heal thing myself a lot. Have just wondered wether or not it supposed to be so

Couple things I have seen confirmed by Devs

The DoT tracking cloaked units is unintentional and being fixed.
Pete’s headshot is being fixed
Pete’s return fire “using” the head shot ability is being fixed in some practical way (I believe)
Not being able to trigger a mine by knocking an opponent onto it is being reworked in some unmentioned way (to be more practical)

As for your other mentioned I think a mine should follow the first person that steps on it, not the last.
The aura healing through wall I get, but I don’t think Medkit should work that way. Does it, never tried as logic I just assumed you had to “see the person” to heal them.
Healing aura I always viewed as “pre-emptive” to your turn. It happens first no matter what. DoT happens after healing but before your turn is how I see it now which is why healing happens before DoT kills you even if it’s shown in a diff order in game. I don’t think this is ideal though

To me I feel DoT should happen at the end of a turn. You get a molotov tossed on you, you take initial damage. You take your next turn (on fire) and upon submitting, take DoT damage (which at that point you could die simulating what you took in damage during the length of your move), and so on each turn after. It feels out of order to take a molotov hit, and another DoT damage before you even get to take 1 turn. Feels like a turn was skipped in there because I’m taking damage from something twice before I get to even attack

Any devs have any info on these things?
