Bugged planting with phantom

I was playing Phantom on bridge and cloaked around to the generator room. I started planting thinking i would uncloak but i stayed cloaked the whole time i was planting. is this a bug or a perk with phantoms cloak?

i’m using the C94 Excellent Operative (In bronze which i almost got in cobalt it was the next card from the case) i don’t know if the color matters.
