Bugged mission?

So,

I have this character that I play every now and then, I would play more often but the missions I have left seems rather bugged.
It’s a resistance character, I played through all of the resistance campaigns with no problems at all, but when I boot up day 3 on security the bots in the other team turns chuck norris and one shots everything, I can litteraly shoot one of them in the back, and before the second bullet has hit he’s turned around and killed me. Also the bots in my team tend to spread out all over the map (mostly irrelevant areas) and do pretty much nothing, it’s like the 2 star be more objective challenge at lvl 20 using only melee…
The character is lvl 12 atm, I know the maps are supposed to get harder as you lvl up but since I have no problem at all at higher lvls I’m goignt o assume somethings out of order

Does anyone know of this bug? Or perhaps a solution? I’d really like to finish both campaigns on this character aswell

no the bots at a certain level have god mode aim (never miss a headshot) and such. play online co-op its eisier than solo

You’ll need to use cover a lot. Also, Security is much, much harder than Resistance when Solo’ing.

Capture command posts often… if you keep them for the buffs, great, but more importantly, they will a) keep your teammate bots from going to capture the damn things and they’ll stick with you more often and b) the enemy will run off to capture them, leaving the objective less defended.

Yeah, I know how to play the game :wink: In fact I rarely lose a game…

Playing campaign online is something I avoid, if there’s anything more stupid than a bot it’s the average online shooter player, don’t get me wrong, there are a few nice players out there but not enough to want to play with the rest of the jackasses… (Sorry about the languague)

And yes as I stated I know the bots get harder when you lvl up, but seeing as I have no trouble whatsoever with a lvl 20 char on the same map or any other security map with the lvl 12 char I find it highly unlikely that my skill is the problem

Play with a group of friends. Security is tough, but fun with friends.

Again, I have completed this mission many times before at different character levels, never had any problems at all, just 3 min ago I did it on a lvl 20, alone. No problems whatsoever, but when I log on to one specific character the mission is just… sick

And no, I don’t really find any campaign map though, save this one on the character mentioned.

Will a Devmember please look into this? the differance in difficulty is just ridiculous…

Funny, Im finding Day 5 as security impossible no matter what setting I use.

The enemy team AI seem to have a plan defending and taking supples, but when it comes to my team its like the Dev’s thought screw it lets just make them wander round aimlessly and be useless.

Im about to give up on the game simply cause the AI is so badly done, 1 minute their a challenge the next minute their impossible :rolleyes:

Do you get that on every character? Haven’t tried all of the security missions on that character yet but I guess it’ll be the same

It took a friend and I repeated tries over the course of three days to beat Shipyard on Hard as Security. It wasn’t that the mission was bugged (I ran into plenty of bots that 1 and 2 shot me as well as took way more bullets to down than the avg bot/player) it was our need to adapt our play style and that the game is difficult (but not impossible). Therefore, I’m hesitant to agree about any bugged out mission, I think that if you keep trying you’ll figure out what you need to do to get past the level. Similar to many of the week one posts of “Be More Objective Challenge is impossible even on 1 star.” Time has shown that it simply was not the case.

Also, I’ve heard many “myths” if you will, or different versions about bot AI and how it works. Even one including that the AI adapts to how well you play not just the difficulty setting. Therefore, this may be the problem you are running into - or this could just be a myth.

Yeah, you have a point, but the fact remains that on any other character I have no trouble what so ever beating that map :wink:

Were that myth true it might cause a problem since I went from lvl 1 to 12 in about 6-7 matches, that’s faster than my others at least… Might be worth looking into, thanks
