So I had thought this issue had been fixed, but that must have been because I switched to using my laptop to play for a while. It seems that on 16:10 resolutions, the in game chat will sometimes glitch out and be in the upper left hand corner as opposed to the lower/middle part of the left hand side just over the minimap. It seems that this happens when respawning, or going into spectator or going back to the game after looking at the mid game/end-of-round review screen. hitting the all chat or team chat button seems to fix it or, if you’re already typing a message, hitting enter or escape also fixes it.
