[Bug?] Why do I not have a rank?

Hello. I’ve been playing Dirty Bomb ever since Alpha. When ranked was introduced, it took (iirc) 10 placement matches to get placed into a rank. I remember a month ago it told me that I still need one placement match. But even after I did that one match, it told me the same thing, so I gave up on trying for that day.
2 days ago I finally played what I though must be the final placement match on Monday.

No rank at all!! This is confusing! There is no message about if I still need any placement matches either, so it seems I’m actually placed without a getting a rank :o
I asked my friend to look at his stats, and he has 0,0,0 (win, draw, loss) and still is placed in gold 5. So there’s pretty sure something wrong with my stats.

Was there a reset happening recently that messed with my placement? Bug? Will I get any trinket?

Even after restarting your game you haven’t received a rank? This is the first report I’ve had for something like this. I will look into it on my end but I would suggest you contact customer support as well.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, restarted the game at least twice.
Seems I’m just one of those very unlucky guys in DB. I didn’t receive the Christmas coal trinket either, and each Elite case I open gives me a card for a Merc I don’t even own… :stuck_out_tongue: My account is cursed.

I’ll file a ticket!

I am having the exact same problem. It might just be me being stupid so could anyone send me a picture of where they find their rank.

I tried closing and re opening dirty bomb but that didn’t seem to work so I just played one match and it has seemed to have fixed itself. My screen used to look like the picture @Hackman linked: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=62653696
But now after one match it shows my rank and the next rank that I will be progressing to, also it show the trinkets that I will receive for my rank at the end of rank season 1.
Sorry I cant seem to get a screenshot of the dirty bomb screen, when I try to paste it, it comes out as a black image with a small tab at the top.
Finally in the match I played, after not receiving a rank, I won but I don’t think that has anything to do with me then receiving a rank.
I hope this is useful information for any readers after completing their first 10 matches and are not given a rank. Also @Hackman I am sorry to hear about those elite case openings.

Yea, same here. Playing one more match has given me a rank finally. All good!
