While using Vassili that has a cricket bat, specifically the F23 perceptive sniper, the swing animation some times does not appear on my screen when doing the first swing. I can’t reproduce this bug on command, but it seems to most often happen when, after firing the secondary, I switch to the bat and click mouse 1 as soon as I can. I do know the swing does occure, as I have killed downed opponents when it appeared I had not swung.
Another thing I noticed with all cricket bats, regardless of merc, is that whenever I hit a player, either friendly or enemy, alive or downed, I always hear what sounds like two hits in quick succession even though I only swung once. I don’t hear this with any of the other commonly used melee weapons. Since I currently don’t have any of the mercs that use the kukri or Phantom I cant speak for thoes two special melee weapons.
