On The GoW Reaper exemple
What If An SD Dev would be playing with an new unique Skin/merc with its own weapon and mechanic in special events games where he might be OP compare to the other Mercs

Killing that Dev with this special skin/power would unlock you a New cool Merc type (different from the Dev one and not OP) that only the ones who killed That special Dev would have.
The rewarded new merc will be proudly be used/wear :cool:

That would be great for Devs/community relationship and DB:penguin:

Yup, it’s an awesome idea, but very much something for later down the line. There’re much more pressing matters atm ;).

Both a blessing and one of the most rage inducing curses known to gamerkind.

In the game Blacklight Retribution they have titles under a player’s IGN (some can be earned others only bought), and those players who killed or got killed (not exactly sure which) by the Developers would earn a special title (to use if they chose to).
It might not be as fancy as a merc skin but it was a little something.
