Apologies about the lateness of this thread going up. We’ve been working hard to sort out some of the more glaring issues with the 1.0 release, but this will be a useful place to consolidate all of your reports.

If you can include the server ID you were playing on (if it’s a specific server issue) that would be grand also!

Format bug reports: When putting a bug into the comments below make sure that you give us as much information as you can. If you can remember any of the events leading up to the issue it can help us find the cause quicker.

  • Type of Bug: Eg. Gameplay bug, HUD and in game UI, Frontend UI etc.

  • Description: Describe what the bug is and what happened in the moments leading up to and after the incident.

  • Video / Screenshot: If you can grab a screenshot (which you can do through steam) or a video recording of the issue it would be useful for us.

  • Steps to reproduce: List the steps that lead up to the bug. Try not to leave any information out, every step can be useful!

  • Result: What happened after you experienced the bug.

  • Expected result: What you believe should have happened if there was no bug.

  • Reproduction rate: How many times out of 10 have you experienced this issue? (1/10 - 10/10)

  • Type of Bug: Server Crash

  • Description: The sever crashed while playing on EU West (Amsterdamn)-3660747 and throw me back the the menu/ console.

*Video / Screenshot:

  • Steps to reproduce: Perhaps it got triggered by the shuffle vote? In this case, I played 7 times before this happened.

  • Result: I think it is hard to reproduce the bug itself, if you don’t know what caused it, like a scripter in the specific language sees.

  • Expected result: Well, yeah shouldn’t crash obviously :wink:

  • Reproduction rate: Well, I would say after the recent big update, like 7-8 out 10 it works on the same server, but sometimes few sessions is enough, have more recordings, but didn’t catch the server ID, but this time I did.

  • Type of Bug:
    Gamebreaking for this non-cosole competetive shooter

  • Description:
    No more fast-paced-competetive shooter

  • Video / Screenshot:
    Sry no time to care

  • Steps to reproduce:
    Play your own game with highpingers, lowfpsers, packetlossers, warpers and/or laggers on the server, while beeing able to adore 144 hz/fps (at least in other professional games).

  • Result:
    Feels laggy/warpy/shitty as hell, hitboxes are unrealiable and probably easy to use on some mobile device

  • Expected result:
    Smooth gaming while highpingers, lowfpsers, packetlossers, warpers and/or laggers don’t take a gain and own soly because of it

  • Reproduction rate:
    Total reliabilty achieved! No more work to be done here.

  • Type of Bug:
    Kicked from server / server crash

  • Description:
    It was a EU Cent/West Stockholm server, happened only 20 minutes ago from this post, didn’t catch the server ID, but perhaps you got logs of the nicks and all, at least it was a Stockholm one, might been Objective based one 7vs7 and ID 3661023, got it in favorites, so could be it.

    Don’t really know, up for the scripters to figure that one out, obviously some kind of server-sided net issue.

  • Result:
    My game crashed and I got thrown back to the console menu.

  • Expected result:
    Shouldn’t do so.

    Well, sometimes the first game, as it did now, sometimes it last up to 7-10 rounds on the same server I’ve noticed.

  • Type of Bug:
    Showing “Teamdamage done” done while wasn’t playing on a FF server.

  • Description:
    Don’t really think it is about the server itself, yet something within the script, this occurred on EU West - London / ID: 3661095

I didn’t even shoot my team-mates previously to this, but I shot an enemy and then there were a passed shuffle right after and then it showed that I had dealt some team-damage, after it shuffled teams when I ended up on the former enemy team.

    Don’t really know, up for the scripters to figure that one out, obviously some kind of server-sided net issue.

  • Result:
    Well, since it wasn’t a FF server, then the teamdamage thing was wrongly detected.

  • Expected result:
    Shouldn’t show teamdamage done since it wasn’t a friendly fire based server.

  • Reproduction rate:
    Honestly I have to say occurs rarely, first time for me, I’ve heard it before though.

  • Type of Bug:
    Kicked from server / server crash

  • Description:
    Got a crash and kicked to menu at EU Cent -Stockholm - 3671388. I was playing normally and suddenly it appeared after my re-spawning.

  • Type of Bug:
    Object texture bug / EV

  • Description:
    Well the EVs turret/tower and the mounted MG is missing as you can view below, it was like this the whole map, I got no issues with graphic card or so (Running on Geforce GTX 1080 armor, version 399.24), EV doesn’t look like this all the time, I’ve heard about this before too.

  • Steps to reproduce:
    Don’t really know, perhaps that map is filled with objects, I know this map can be laggy time to time, you can experience FPS drops.

  • Result:
    Actually it didn’t matter, yet I don’t know if you could F on it, didn’t test it, [F] should been visible if you’re close though.

  • Expected result:
    Well, that you could see the actual tower/ mounted MG.

  • Reproduction rate:
    Well, this hasn’t happen before and since all other objects came just fine to me, this particular one somehow got bugged.

  • Type of Bug: Gameplay

  • Description: Area on Terminal where gibbing/finishing off Players doesnt seem to work

  • Steps to reproduce: kill some at the Stairs.

  • Result: not being able to finish People off

  • Expected result: finishing People off by shooting or using Knife

  • Reproduction rate: happend 3 out of 3 times so far. like this whole Stairs Area seems to be affected.

  • Type of Bug: Gameplay

  • Description: Spawntimes are messed up. People can respawn even when they should be dead.

  • Steps to reproduce: kill someone at 0 and they can respawn for seconds after the Respawntimer hit 25.

  • Result: destroying Comp Games

  • Expected result: Players should be dead or longspawned

  • Type of Bug:
    Server lag

  • Description:
    I was playing on EU West (Frankfurt) 3661209 a Stopwatch round and it started just right after the EV was escorted to the crane.

Players couldn’t get out the Detonators from the EV and as usual during these kind of lags, the hit-registering was after, picking up ammo registering too etc, but the only thing reacting correctly was actually Bushwhacker’s Torret.

Also, my ping remained the same, at least when I checked it didn’t increase, which was surprising to me and you can see that everyone experienced it, so it wasn’t playerside problem, definitely a serversided one.

And this lag lasted whole mid-round to the next round.

  • Steps to reproduce:
    No idea, all I can say that it started when the EV was escorted to its last checkpoint, could just a random server connection failure.

  • Result:
    The gameplay was laggy, moved weird, hit registrations were really late etc.

  • Expected result:
    Well, goes without saying :slight_smile:, game shouldn’t be like this.

  • Reproduction rate:
    Actually this is the first time I’ve noticed it, so cannot say further on that topic.

  • Type of Bug:
    Server lag

  • Description:
    It is about the server: EU Cent (West) Stockholm - 3660975.

  1. I started clicking on the server via the serverlist and while waiting to being shipped away to the lobby, it just kept on loading and loading, black screen occurred while it was loading, first when I tried to connect to the server, it just kept reaching it and then the loading… and black screen came.

  2. Then I could finally reach the Lobby and there was like 11-14 players when I joined the Lobby.

  3. Then the loading screen to the game went all well, but while being in-game and waiting to spawn for the first time, well, I couldn’t, I did even try to type, nothing came and occasionally I saw my ping was at 0, usually I’m a very lowpinger at this location.

  4. In-game chat didn’t work for me and other experienced the same lag as I, and finally when the server couldn’t take more I got a notice “Disconnected// - You were kicked due to a game security violation, your game will now close to resolve the issue. -// EasyAntiCheat Kick Client”.

    Huge lag.

  • Expected result:
    No lag.

    Hard to say, happened quite a lot since the 1.0 update.

    Server crash

  • Description:
    I was playing on EU West (London) [3661071] about for 1-2 minutes max and it just shut down/ crashed and I ended up at the menu again after the crash.

It occurred few seconds after I respawned, but not right after the respawn and I didn’t feel like the server were lagging at all, just that random crash.

    Don’t really know, most likely a server net issue.

  • Result:
    Game crashed, not the console itself, just the server.

  • Expected result:
    Should work to play a whole gameplay without having net issues.

  • Reproduction rate:
    Unfortunately happens quite often, lets say 7 times out 10, I think there could some improvement after these hotfixes/ patches but yeah, you can view the statistics better than me.

  • Type of Bug:
    Connection failure.

Description:
Server:

EU West (Frankfurt) [3661209]

Error message when tried to join it from the menu > serverlist: “Identity Proof Rejected”

When I attempted to join it again I got at first a long loading session and the error msg: “An unknown error occurred”

It wasn’t full, or somehow perhaps the server thought it were or bad connection.

Tried again, it started loading from the srv-list and at the error msg this time it told me: “The connection to the server was lost”, but I could still view its players.

When I attempt the same server again it just kept on loading.

Then I joined it a little bit later again and it said “An unknown error has occurred”

    Don’t really know, most likely a server net issue.

  • Result:
    Couldn’t join the server and play in-game.

  • Expected result:
    Should work to connect to a non full server.

  • Reproduction rate:
    Happens every once in awhile, could say like 45 % of the times, especially after that 28th August update.

  • Type of Bug:
    Server lag

Description:
I joined EU Cent (West - Stockholm) [3671394] and it went smooth at the beginning to join from the menu > server list, BUT when I was waiting for the deployment into the server at the Lobby, well, it got disconnected, it was about to deploy but didn’t’.

I decided to give it an attempt more and it well all good from the serverlist to the Lobby to deploy in-game but in-game, I noticed huge lag, typing got delayed, amount of rocket shot got delayed etc, just lag, didn’t notice any huge difference in ping, perhaps it went 10ms up from what it supposed to be.

    Don’t really know, most likely a server net issue.

  • Result:
    Lag. Shaky gaming experience and delayed chat and other stuff like abilities and such.

  • Expected result:
    Shouldn’t be experiencing these, it wasn’t at my end, it is serversided issue.

  • Reproduction rate:
    Hard to say really, but lately, it has occurred like 30-40% of all rounds, crashes happens more I’ve noticed than lag.


CRASH - Game Randomly Exits Game

  • Type of Bug:
    Malfunctioning server - Lag

  • Description:
    As I saw the server 3660873 (EU West - Frankfurt) on the server list for public games, I joined it, by the time it said 12/14 players were online, by the time I joined the Lobby of that server it was only me, so I log-out refreshed the server list page and the server came up again with 13/14 players on it, so I just for the sake of testing it, I understood it was buggy, so when I joined the Lobby I was the only one there and then I joined the actual game and for example, you could notice lag there, I could throw over and over my ability until it registered it, so most likely a lag issue.

I can add the fact that I could play other servers.

  • Type of Bug:
    Graphic issue

  • Description:
    A blue character appears, it’s because of the recent respawn, somehow you turn blue at the stage on respawning and some get the blue color still attached and when the merc died the blue color also vanished. Shouldn’t be a problem from my side I believe, running on 1080 NVIDIA and this is rather old issue I guess, but nonetheless a bug.

  • Steps to reproduce:
    Re-spawn related definitely.

  • Result:
    With knowing how to reproduce, it’s hard to know this, but yeah, perhaps something to do with the respawn of a merc and somehow gets stuck in the very same color, don’t know if there’s something to do how they died and so on, but after they die the blue color is away in the cases I’ve seen it.

  • Expected result:
    The blue color shouldn’t THAT long attached.

  • Reproduction rate:
    I guess it’s not that uncommon, since I see it like in every 10th game or so, many times longer, but around that number.
