Bug in Etpro 3.2.4?

OK, ok, I know. This is probably not the place etc. but I can’t get registered at bani and I suspect there’s a bug in EtPro 3.2.4 that other’s might find annoying as well. So please don’t start flaming me but read on a bit. :bash:
My ET server at www.tuus.nl runs EtPro 3.2.0. After I recently updated it to 3.2.4, and re-installed a PC, I got a specific problem when playing ET on my own server. Namely:

Whenever I reach an objective as engineer by making or repairing an objective, the sound starts hanging like an old record being stuck, and after some repeating of the accompanying sound ET hangs up with the allknown Windows error 0xc00005.

On another PC, almost but not exactly identical to the one mentioned before, this problem doesn’t exist. The problem is absolutely in EtPro 3.2.4, not in 3.2.0 and before. It seems to be something with the sound card of drivers, but another sound card (same chip but different drivers) gives exactly the same problem.

My question is: does anybody out there recognise this problem, or am I alone on this one? That would surprise me because the PC is running flawlessly but for this one error.

Anybody got a clue?

Tia,
Richard.

FWIW, the sound looping really doesn’t mean the crash has anything to do with sound card or drivers. If your computer freezes with a sound playing, the sound will most likely loop, even if the crash was completely unrelated to the sound card.

As for the crash, without detailed steps to reproduce (like which specific objective on which map) it pretty hard to make any conclusion. The fact that there aren’t a lot of people having the same problem indicates it is something to do with your machine.
