As it stands, the ahnuld shotgun is a shotgun with slightly increased accuracy, rather large mag, and largely decreased damage. I would say that it needs a slight damage or rate of fire buff, as it’s really underwhelming now, and you’re better off using your secondary at it’s effective range. If you don’t want to directly buff this weapon, you could reduce the mag size to 6 instead of 7. (seriously though, 7 rounds? why so odd?)

I’d be down for a small RoF buff. Since every shotgun has the same RoF currently it could be interesting.
Yeah. Another idea I thought of is a higher headshot modifier than the other shotguns, since it is more accurate. That’s probably more likely than a straight damage buff, but like you said a RoF buff with headshot mod could turn this thing into a high risk high reward shotty.

I don’t think changing headshot multipliers for a certain weapon is a good idea, it screws up the constant 2x multiplier we have at the moment.
Dont forget it has longer range already. Its the sniper rifle of shotguns
Well, there’s that, but at the same time, most classes that use the lever action predominately also have access to machine pistols that are better at range. Maybe if they reduced the drop off it may help.
Considering they’re the cannons strapped to 150 mph demons of death to shove up the anuses of targets before they can even react, I agree with this statement.
RoF buff on the Ahnuld, damage nerf on all the shotties except the Hollunds, and slot the Remburg in between the two (Ahnuld’s damage with Hollunds’ spread) and make it a higher-mobility option than the others. That would make it interesting.

Honestly, the changes in the animations seem to have had more of an impact than the buff. I just feel even more stylish than before. Jumping off of walls and double-headshotting someone? Style. Sticking somebody’s face and then shooting it, killing them instantly? Style.

I freaking LOVE the animation changes!
Since the range was already better than the other shotty, the range difference is huge. It’s really good now.
