Buff Aura HP, slow self regeneration

Aura has terrible HP, this is to offset her health regen when she’s sitting on the station. However, this makes her trash when she’s NOT on the station, which is surprisingly often. Nader, Fragger, Fletcher can really ruin an Aura.

So why not buff Aura HP to 90 or 100 but at the same time slow down healing rate ? Only healing rate for herself, teammates would heal as fast as usual. This would make her a more reliable merc, especially on offense. Yet, with slower health regen, she wouldn’t be overpowered.

I personally don’t find any reason to make a change like this.
Aura has very low hp because she’s meant to be weak in combat, if she had a decent health pool she would have a lot more survivability and killing power.
Aura needs to have a lot of counters because her healing is mad good during point defense.
While playing as her you should avoid to get harrased by backing off the healing station then get your position back as you get some allied fire support.
Aura is tuff to learn and take a while to practise but extremely rewarding and importantin teamfights.

Yet she is one of the two starting mercs. It doesn’t make sense to have a starting merc which is hard to learn. Phoenix is a very easy merc to use and he should be the starting medic instead.

Phoenix isn’t that easy to use either.
Imo sawbonez is a great starting medic.

Giving people medics such as sawbonez or phoenix won’t learn them to be a medic, new people will just rush into combat and heal themselves.

Since with aura they’ll instantly die they’ll atleast learn how to stay back.

Like killing the Aura ? I proposed reducing her personal regeneration speed in the same sentence. She wouldn’t be harder to kill on station. The goal is to buff her outside the station only.

Sawbonez can heal enemies, and throw packs where nobody sees them. You need either good aim, a stationary target, or a microphone. Starting medic ?

I eagerly await new competitive videos. I have reasons to believe people use Sawbonez + Phoenix now, at the expense of Aura.

By doing this you would buff Aura herself slightly while nerfing the whole combat of DirtyBomb in total. Look at the competitive matches that took place yesterday at DBNations.
Having an Aura-camp is one of the most basic strategies in this game, why would you nerf a basic mechanic just to buff ONE merc?

Um, what they need to do is decrease the healing ability of the Healing Station by at least 15%. You literally can’t see the damn healing station in the midst of battle with like 5 Rhinos standing in front of it being healed while the Healing Station itself has like 120hp I believe.

so perhaps lower the HP of the healing station itself ?
