BuckET v0.2 will be released on Tuesday, August 3rd. It will be compiled for both windows and linux. This version requires a client-side download.
I will release a minor update sometime in the next two weeks.
After that there will not be a another release until I get my bots working on at least one stock ET map, this could take days or months.
I’m also up for suggestions for any features people want to see.

ALT-01 ALTERED: Complaints cannot be filed for landmines, dynamite, arty/air strikes & mortars.
ALT-02 ALTERED: Setting b_nokill to 2 will prevent players from using /kill only if they have not received damage in the last 10 seconds.
ALT-03 ALTERED: Medic regeneration has been altered.
ALT-04 ALTERED: Covert Ops’ get nightvision scopes at level4.
ALT-05 ALTERED: Improved HUD.
ALT-06 ALTERED: Partial re-write of the bot code, it works better now :wink:
FIX-01 FIXED: The head hitbox was moved to below the neck (nasty bug) in v0.1, this has been fixed.
FIX-02 FIXED: Some weapons were missing in some cases. This has been fixed.
FIX-03 FIXED: The knife is now anti-lagged.
FIX-04 FIXED: CG_AddItem() now works properly with

FIX-05 FIXED: Setting cg_drawfireteamoverlay to 0 no longer disables drawing of other HUD items.
FIX-06 FIXED: Player shoving works better.
ADD-01 ADDED: Player stealing (cvar: b_steal).
ADD-02 ADDED: Players can pickup any weapon (cvar: b_pub & 64).
ADD-03 ADDED: Covert Ops’ can unlock/lock doors using the lockpick (weaponbank7).
ADD-04 ADDED: Revivees can fall from the sky (b_reviveUp <distance>).
ADD-05 ADDED: Level 5 (200XP in that skill).
ADD-06 ADDED: Hitsounds (cvar: cb_hitsound).
ADD-07 ADDED: Client events can be timestamped in any given colour (cvar: cb_timestamp <colour>).
ADD-08 ADDED: Client text size can be scaled (cvar: cb_textsize).

NOTES

ADD-01: When enabled (b_pub must have the bitwise 32), medics can revive enemies. When the enemy is revived, he changes teams.
ADD-05: Each skill has a unique feature at level5.

Linux servers must be running a recent version of glibc to run the mod.

If this has been fixed or is a not a requirement, I’d give the mod a run.

I’ll have to delay the release until I get the linux binaries working. Right now they give me an error when you try to load a map.

2 demos of v0.2 are now available.

Your host is redirecting all requests of the file to the referring website (this case SplashDamage). Maybe thats their protection against hotlinking. Why don’t you use pcgamemods?
Also, can someone really watch the demos without having the mod installed? Just wondering how the new features will be processed and shown, if the game doesn’t know that they even exist.

They’re far too accurate. I was testing my altered FG42 here…

BTW, vids should be up in a day or so.
