Brushes not showing textures all the time?

I know this is gonna be compltetly noobish but i just started mapping today and would like to know if it is normal for my brushes to look like this:

one minute and then look like this:

the next.

the weird thing is that when i compile it and play in a game its completly fine…

heh heh, for some reason you clicked menu-textures/render quality/wireframe set it to something else to get it back :stuck_out_tongue:

no its set on bilinear and its still does the same thing… the texture shows up completly if i have the whole brush in the camera view

videocard drivers update maybe? i dont know never had this problem… but i do have sometimes that my brushes simply dissappear when i get close too them (most of the time in the 2D window but also in the 3D window sometimes, but only when i look at them at an angle, eg not directly at them)

  1. on the right side ( up) click on red box - Show entities as , mark Skinned and Boxed
  2. go on main toolbar Wiev/Filter

ok i think it might be becasue of on on-board graphics processor (stupid intel and HP!!!)
:banghead: :angry: :twak: :bash:
so now im off to buy a new graphics card (looking for one around $100 - $150 any suggestions?)
