Brush mixing

I was just browsing through junk.txt for my map and i noticed that there are around 100 brushes giving off a warning like :

Entity 0, Brush 1867: Mixed detail and structural (defaulting to structural)

i think i know where and what they are due to a drop in fps in a certain place, so i need to know what caused them and how to get rid :slight_smile:

Thank u drakir for sorting my problem, it appears my first stab at hint brushes crashed and burned :frowning: Still not sure what the problem was, but its gone :slight_smile: tnx again.

This happens becasue you had some HintBrushs flagged as detail (you must have ‘right click > make detail’ at some point with the hint brushs selected), you can’t have hint brushes flagged as detail otherwise you get that error (usually) with the possible change of crashing the compiler. Selecting all the hint brushes and convert them back to ‘structural’ objects usually fixes the error.
