Brush editing different in Radiant 1.5_NEED HELP

(aburn) #1

Can sumone explain to me how can I make Radiant 1.5 work like 1.4?

My problem is in editing Verticles.
When I have a brush. And I try to move one Verticle downwords (with respect to Z axis)
It moves some other Verticles too :frowning:

As u can see on this picture.
The Verticle on the left of the moved one… Was moved too :frowning:

In Radiant 1.4 it splited faces into triangles which was very convinient to me, and made editing terrain or anything nice, and easy…

Is there a way to setup Radiant 1.5 to split planes to triangles when needed???
(like in this situation…)

EDIT #1
I even found it in preferences in GTK1.4

But in GTK1.5 there is not such option :frowning:

As far as i know you cant in 1.5,

See http://zerowing.idsoftware.com/files/radiant/docs/1.5/

still there must be an option to break a brush into triangles ffs
Now I will have to use both 1.4 and 1.5

cause 1.5 fixes the grid problems so that sum objects get built as should be…

I would suggest to prefab it in 1.4 and import it into 1.5.

yeah… prolly thats the best option…
Still I make changes along while maping other stull I realize something should be diffrent…
And swithching throught editors is really inconvinient… spetially that I use q3map2Builder to compile and have psp on all the time…
but I cant do anything ATM with that…
