Do you think Bronze 5 and the Elite comp ranks are just as rare? Who is going to try to get to Bronze 5?

Bronze 5 is the rarest,my friend tried to get it but he got silver 5 I think. @Uli

It simply cannot be done. If you derank too much you simply won’t find games just like how if you rank up too much, it would take a complex series of events to reach bronze 5 starting by throwing as many games as possible until you can’t get matched anymore, and then start queuing in a party with gold rank players who would have to be careful to not lose too much lest they derank excessively as well.

What if someone does so bad in his first 10 comp matches that he receives Bronze 5 as his first rank?

Even if you lose all qualification games you will likely only get Silver 1 since unranked is pretty much just a veiled Gold 5. A friend went 30-0 on his smurf and he’s Gold 3…

If it is calculated by ELO rating… It will take the strenght of your oponents, and give you rating by how you do against them… So if you play against silvers and lose all you will most likely get bronze to silver.
On the other hand, if you play against elites, and you win couple of those, you’ll get an enormous headstart and probably start with Cobalt 4/3 or better.

Anyways if you play against all elite ranks, and win half of those, it means you’ll get that rating (elite rank)

Now I read somewhere that ratings are calculated by ELO rating system, but I don’t know how would that work when there are 5 enemies you play against.

And that said I think it’s technically impossible to get the bronze trinket.
I’m curios if it even exists.

Yeah it’s nearly impossible to get to bronze I spent to much of my time on a smurf ruining games for others.

Edit: for anyone trying to get it keep in mind it took me nearly 60 losses to get from silver 2 to silver 3 on the warning “!” in a row.

Eh, I’m guessing a handful of noobs have Bronze 5 rather than a handful of experienced players competing for Elite.

Bronze 5 is simply impossible. You need to play insanely bad and top the badness of people, who are already really bad. And if you end up over Bronze 5 after the 11 first games, you’ll never get it, since you only gonna get a trinket of your best rank.

Honestly I hope that unranked = bronze/silver in the next season. And that Bronze is actually attainable, right now it’s actually impossible to derank enough to hit Bronze.

Neway! I’ve had many test accounts have random bronze ranks including 5! I’ll see if I can find some screenshots. NOW how to get them… I just had accounts that always lost games and well they started off very low in the first place.
