i have a problem with custom skybox.
i had downloaded some sky from sock’s simland in hope i will use them in my map.
so, i modified the shader etc in a proper way and putted on the new sky in radiant. after bsp (-meta -leaktest -v) and full vis compilation i loaded my map and it looked fine.
after i’d sent it to my friend, he started to complain about sky bounds, so it looks like a big box from sky. he has indeed different gfx card and drivers than me, so…
“k” i thought. i compiled the map again, this time with -skyfix parameter. however, now the bounds also appeared on my pc! i was liek wtf and sent it to my friend again, he told me that there was no change for him at all, still like a big box.
in hope it’s a bad shader (bad shader? o_O), i used the original one. again, and again, no change.
i decided to use completely different skybox, from another person (kell.leveldesign.org). i did the same process with this new skybox, but it has still same problem…
what i’m doing wrong?
