Broken Compettetive

I need this for my next ranking, before devs think of adding new stuff, please try & work out a bugfix. I can’t find a compettetive match for the life of me.

Can you explain in more detail what is happening?

What is your Rank?
How long are you waiting?
Are you solo que’ing?
Are you selecting all maps and the correct region?

Hey dude! There is no “bug fix” for when you are unable to find a competitive match I am afraid, because the match-making works (even if it could use some improvements in some areas), however if you provide more details such as:

  • Region you’re playing on.
  • How long the wait is.
  • What rank you are.
  • Your filter options.

It might be able to help us, help you a little more in coming up with a solution. Or we can enlighten you of the low player-base in certain regions (I know AUS specifically has a lot of problems with this, sadly).

Okay, I am cnurrently lvl 7, needing to be lvl 8 (requires 10 games of c,ompettetive play) And am in Australain servers, & SCAN for Australian servers ONLY. Also, ontop of that, I am usually solo que’ing but I tried with my friend once for 10o minutes & it didn’t work either. Please help.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but there have sadly been quite a few complaints about the AU competitive matching. There is quite a small player-base there for the competitive scene as far as I know.

Perhaps @Ghosthree3 or @Clown could elaborate on this? (I believe I’ve seen you guys talking about AU servers before, so I assumed you are from there! I apologise if I got this wrong though.)

I haven’t played competitive MM in literally months but when I did it took between 20-60 minutes to find a game. Was late at night though.

Is competitive giving more EXP or why can’t you “level up” in pub?

I’m wondering the exact same thing. You can still get EXP (and probably more of it, at that) in regular pub matches.

I think the consensus in AUS Servers is that Competitive Matches are broken beyond remote possibility of a fix because there are higher priorities.

The best solution to the problem is to drop the mission, and wait for a new one. Futher it’s best to remain unranked at the moment.
