I am kind of neutral on the dlc. the maps are pretty good, but they both allow for a massive turtle at the last objective.
the bayonet takes too long to swing, and is MAYBE useful as an assassination type device for operatives. the shield is really cool, but not my cup of tea.
the abilities i like. the pyro mine has some amazing uses if you are willing to think outside the box with it. the field regen device could have been done better i think.
level cap increase isnt a bad thing. im glad they didnt extend into a new rank. as it sits now, you can comfortably make a 2-class character, and if you go relatively bare bones, you could probably pull off a 3 class character.
the outfits are pretty cool, but i prefer my preexisting outfit. they mesh well with the other outfits, which was something i was hoping for.
i do however need to applaud the weapon adjustments. i dont use a heavy, never did. i do however love the fact that they are now a force to be reckoned with, and not a nuisance that i feel the need to vote-kick when they land on my team.
i also love being able to use the galactic without having to worry about getting carbed to death constantly.
