A new blog entry has been added:
[drupal=849]Brink’s Agent of Change DLC Now Available![/drupal]

The Agents of Change DLC is now available for download on Xbox Live, PlayStation Network, and Steam! Better yet, you’ll be able to download it for free on all platforms for the next two weeks - it’s our way of saying thank you for your continued support for Brink.
Agents of Change contains two brand-new maps, Labs and Founders’ Tower, five new player abilities, two new outfits, and two new weapon attachments. It also raises the level cap to 24 and adds new trophies (PS3) and achievements (Xbox 360 and PC). Be sure to check out the image above for an overview of all the goodies included in the DLC.
To download Agents of Change, head to the Downloadable Content tab in the game’s main menu or visit Xbox Live Marketplace, the PSN Store, or the Steam store, depending on your platform. If you don’t have access to any of these at the moment, you can use these links to queue up the DLC on your system of choice and be all set when you return:

Update: After a brief appearance, the Steam store has swallowed Agents of Change again. We’ll let you know when it’s back up.
Update #2: Aaand it’s back on Steam. Go, go, go!

Won’t install. Thank you Steam for failing with such consistency.

When clicking the link in a browser or inside the game it will not do anything but ask me if I have steam or not. When looking for the page inside Steam’s store the page will redirect to some place else.

When people tell me Steam has become good in recent years I always cringe.

(Patriotqube) #3

cant get it to install either

:frowning:

(CENB71) #4

Same here, can’t install… can’t even access it on store page.

(Codine) #5

still not working on steam.

(Sandman77) #6

lol epic fail SD!

(coolstory) #7

:s more like epic fail steam.

(Bittermetal) #8

Alright, SD or Steam or wood nymphs or DLC gods… whoever…

This has now become ridiculous. I see a listing for it on Steam. But I don’t have it. It is not downloading. So what now, powers-that-be??? Please tell me what now!

Figured out what is the matter. The links in steam that are supposed to direct to http://store.steampowered.com/app/22364 all direct to something else. Like the news page.

If you can figure out how to get this url to open inside that retarded POS Steam then you might be able to install it. But since it doesn’t seem to work when you are doing it in STEAM from the game itself. That’s probably not gonna happen, because. As previously stated. Steam is a Steaming pile of Gabe Newell ****.

They should have prepare for this 2-3 days ahead before release. So all the platform can release at the same time and people would be happy with equality with ones feel like getting stab in the back for being royal fans.

kinda remind me of Nintendo dropped 3DS price down to 170$ from 250$ lol… and they can’t do anything except the fake apologize. big guys keep bullying people who can’t fight them back around.

(Tandem) #11

Hmm, no gun tweaks for pc.
Oh well.

(SerTekA) #12

EPIC fail again wow

(SD=Flagship) #13

This topic should have been made when the pc version was actually available. Fail on SD’s part, and Fail for Steam… DOUBLE FAIL!

(Darksider) #14

Brink just can’t catch a break, It constantly get nibbled on by Gremlins.

(Bittermetal) #15

Hahhahahahah I actually got to the AoC product page on Steam. But nothing happens when I click “install” so exited steam and reopened my steam client. THen I went to news, saw the AoC listing with the same link to teh product pg. I click that link again and it now takes me to the Steam homepage or Store page.

Come on, really?! I like the Three Stooges just as much as anyone but this is just a bit pathetic.

(SerTekA) #16

i know right i hope rage doesnt have it this bad

Pretty funny that we’re going to be the last to get the DLC, yet we didn’t need to even wait for anyone to certify it. Oh well, it isn’t like the DLC will save the game and the only reason to wait for it was the NA ESL tournament that isn’t even going to happen, lol.

I think they should drop the whole “all platforms at the same time” thing. Why? So you can market it once and save some money? Look at all the issues it’s caused. That costs more than the money you save. Reputation and brand are expensive (just ask coke).

Ofc the other solution is: If you’re planning on releasing on the 3rd, tell everyone that it’ll be available on the 4th and then sneak it in. If everything is good on the 3rd then happy unbirthday. At least there’ll be less complaining that way.

(kristus) #19

Looks like they removed it again.

So 1 more hour and it will officially miss all of Europe for the 3rd of August release?
