He mentioned a basic strategy: take the medics down first or you are wasting your time. This is a good strategy that most employed in ET and ETQW. Maybe also, focus on an engr/soldier if trying to plant/disarm.

But in this game, I have to look at a tiny icon to determine this. I liked being able to determine by the model, but a big push of this game was designing your character.

Personally, even though of course I played around with my character’s look, I couldn’t care less. And frankly I’d be surprised anyone 18+ really cares. My little nephew, cares about that stuff big time for example.

I know they’d never add this, but I’d much rather have a default looking med/engr/soldier/op that was easy to identify. Again, they’d never put this option in cause of the big push on char. design, but if they did, I bet lots would switch in short order because of the visual advantage to easily identify a class type.

And honesty, even though the characters look cool in the design screen, how many here actually appreciate that in game? I’ve never looked at anyone and thought, cool looking character. And even if you tried, it’s too fast paced for the most part.

Yeah I have to check the enemy class icon because you can’t tell by appearance and weapon for medic. Spray at that icon, and make sure you finish em off with smg, esp with self revive.

maybe i will actually have medics on my team instead of bots pretending to be medics:)
