Like a CQB gun, im not advertising anything sir. :P. i agree, there are plenty of clothes available.
how can be for example green jacket useful in gameplay? turrets are useless and we will get new pink hats?
Thanks for your opinion, please post on my thread rather than hijaking this.
Fundemental things should be
Xbox lag fix
turret fix
Minor operative boost(maybe)
The staff that create character/art assets are probably not the same staff that alter gameplay/ui/engine elements. So it probably doesn’t affect the rate at which those fixes are introduced.
check this http://www.splashdamage.com/node/810
he is talking about fixing the bugs only.

Your thread? Ermmm… no?
SD will get round to fixing the problems in this game. everybody needs to relax.
They can do various things on the DLC, don’t start complaining even before the DLC is out.
This customization nonsense should have been replaced with more time for better gameplay mechanics.
I mean honestly this isnt an rpg where we are tinkling with clothes. Thats more of a girls thing…

I actually like “tinkling” with clothes… both in game and in real life… especially in real life. Sometimes I look at people and I’m like “wow… why even bother coming out if you’re going to look like a bum?” And my girlfriend’s actually one really happy girl because I’m not like every other guy who dresses bummy. But I guess I’m the only one with a sense of style around here… or I’m the only one whose mom taught him how to be presentable in public.
Anyway, the customization options are nice. Priority should be to fix technical issues… but I don’t see what’s so wrong with more clothing options.

What the **** did I just read?
Me basically saying I’m better than you because you’re probably ugly.
DLC is generally just content.
Bug fixes should be saved for patches; CONTENT should be saved for DLC. That’s what the C stands for: CONTENT.

Fundemental should be
Xbox lag fix
XBox texture fix
PS3 lag and texture fixes for those (VERY few) experiencing them
PC compatibility issues fix
[/QUOTE]
Fixed that for you.
Operatives are fine, wen used correctly.
Turrets are fine when used correctly.
The game’s balance isn’t perfect, but it’s the closest I’ve seen a shooter to being so. And especially a class-based one. The main focus right now should be patching the issues, particularly the texture delays some players are experiencing, and the lag, both of which are console-exclusive, mainly on XBox, and the compatibility issues on PC, particularly with ATI graphics cards. And I’m pretty sure that IS the main focus already, and if we get our first (free) DLC to include new clothes and (hopefully… maybe…) weapon skins, I’ll be more than happy.

I love how people say this.
Turrets are broken. End of story.
They work well when they work, but the problem is they don’t work 85% of the time.
Unless you think it’s ok for any random schmuck to run straight at the front of a turret and melee it to death without the turret shooting them. Because that’s what I see. I do it plenty myself. Pop out. If the turret doesn’t shoot, run at it and beat it to death. If it does shoot? Go back into cover and try again. 7 out of 10 times I encounter a turret, it doesn’t shoot me, even if I am standing directly in front of it. Hell, I’ve even moved to STAY in front of the barrel of an enemy turret and had it ignore me.
I remember one guy saying he’d rather keep his “dignity” than do certain “girly” things because it makes you presentable. I think he kept his virginity too.
Maybe you xbox/ps3 nerds don’t know, but aesthetics (that’s a fancy word for pretty dress up stuff) rakes in a **** ton of cash in computer games these days. e.g. TF2 recently raised $430,000 for Japan relief selling some of the ugliest hats you’ve ever seen in your life. And that’s just 3 hats in a few weeks. They have tons more for sale and CONTINUALLY churn them out because it’s profitable. Join up in any MMO-- same thing-- new mounts, new clothes, hair colors, outfits. Girls tend to play more MMOs too. See a trend?
Ever seen a bunch of computer nerds fawn over some hats like girls hyperventilating over a shoe sale? Load up TF2. I hope all you nerds complaining about clothes get all your characters turned into Teletubbies, we’ll see how you feel then, while the rest of us are running around looking like anorexic Rastafarian Jason Voorhees.
Meanwhile game developers will keep counting their cash while you don’t get laid.
I really will change my sig into : “Apples was right all along, this bloody basterd”
